The end of 1983, Apora started in the research of space frame component manufacturing in conjunction with DUC (Dutch United Consultants) as a Consultant and PT. Binatama Akrindo as a Contractor to implement the space frame roof jobs in Indonesia.

In 1989, Apora started with the export of Space Frame Component to ASEAN Countries. In 1995, Apora found the new connector system called “Apora Bottle Connector System “,

five years later after registered the application of Intellectual Properties Invention, the patent right “Apora Bottle Connector System” is granted accordingly in Indonesia (Oct 2000), Taiwan (Nov 2000) & PRC (Jan 2002).

Since the application of the above system, because of the out-look shape is like “a Bottle“ and is considered rigid, nice-looking and unique of the cylindrical shape difference compare with other system.

So the competitor in overseas countries hence calls “Apora Bottle Connector System ” as “ Indonesia Space Frame”.

The advance technology machine equipment, plus custom design software with 20 years of space frame components manufacture experience, day to day update the technology has put Apora Space Frame to one of the challenging name in the space frame industry in the world.

Apora bottle connector-system

Apora bottle connector system, founded by Apora 1983. Apora design the space frame connector system with a cylindrical shape. The shape has ability to transfer the compression forces smoothly from the small-end of the bottle-body to the larger part to eliminate any buckling effect to the plate.

consists of Bolt, "Bottle" body, conical spring & Plate to become Apora Bottle Connector Set. Since 1994, Apora Bottle Connector System has been used in many project such as roof for canopy, tribune, multipurpose hall and big stadium
